Small tattoos prove that meaning doesn't depend on size. A single flower, a meaningful symbol, a delicate touch of watercolor color can carry a story as deeply as any sleeve. These are often first tattoos, quiet reminders, or personal marks placed somewhere close to the heart. Even at a smaller scale, I bring the same attention to color, flow, and composition that I give to every piece, so your tattoo feels like true artwork rather than a sticker.
Small doesn't mean simple. The challenge of a small piece is capturing something meaningful in a limited space, and that's where thoughtful design matters most. You bring the story or the feeling. I'll distill it into something beautifully intentional that feels like it has always belonged on your skin.
The Experience
My private studio, Alchemist Ink, was created as a space for connection and transformation, not just tattooing. People don't sit in my chair for ink alone. They come with stories, grief, hope, and questions, and I listen. Whether this is your first tattoo or your fiftieth, you'll be welcomed into a calm, personal space where you can feel at ease.
Once your request is accepted, I design your tattoo by hand around the meaning you've shared and the placement you've chosen. Small tattoos are completed in a single session, so you'll leave with your finished piece in just a couple of hours, along with an experience I hope stays with you as long as the art does.
Pricing
Small tattoos take two hours or less and are billed at $300 per hour, typically up to $600 in tattoo time, with a $150 drawing fee. The drawing fee covers the design process and reserves your place in my books.
Submit Your Request
The more I know, the better I can see your piece before we begin. In your request, share the story or meaning behind the tattoo, the placement and approximate size you have in mind, and any imagery, colors, or feelings you're drawn to. Include a photo of the area you'd like tattooed. Let me know how much creative freedom you're offering, because even small pieces come most alive when there's room for art to happen.
