Medium REQUESTS
Room for your story to breathe
Medium tattoos strike a beautiful balance. They're large enough to hold real detail, color, and movement, yet intimate enough to find a home almost anywhere on the body. At this scale, I can layer in soft watercolor tones alongside the graphic elements that give my work its structure. The result is a piece with depth and presence. Forearms, calves, shoulders, and upper arms are natural homes for this size, where the design can flow with the shape of your body and come alive as you move.
Some of my most meaningful pieces have come in this size: a tribute to someone loved, a symbol of a turning point, an image that captures who you're becoming. You bring the story and the feeling behind it. I bring the vision to translate it into art that feels unmistakably yours. The more creative freedom you give me, the more fully your piece can bloom.
The Experience
My private studio, Alchemist Ink, was created as a space for connection and transformation, not just tattooing. People don't sit in my chair for ink alone. They come with stories, grief, hope, and questions, and I listen. Every piece I create begins with who you are and what you want to carry with you.
Once your request is accepted, I design your tattoo by hand, shaping the imagery around your placement and the meaning you've shared. Many medium tattoos can be completed in a single session, which means you'll walk out the door with your finished piece and, I hope, an experience you'll remember as much as the art itself.
Pricing
Medium tattoos take up to four hours and are billed at $300 per hour, with a $200 drawing fee. The drawing fee covers the design process and reserves your place in my books.
Submit Your Request
The more I know, the better I can see your piece before we begin. In your request, share the story or meaning behind the tattoo, the placement and approximate size you have in mind, and any imagery, colors, or feelings you're drawn to. Include a photo of the area you'd like tattooed, especially if there's existing work nearby. Let me know how much creative freedom you're offering, because that space is where my best work comes to life.
